If you are new to scuba diving, then the Ocean Diver course is the place to start. We teach our courses over approximately a 12 week period, with either a pool session or a lecture taking place every Wednesday evening.
For those who already have a diving certification, then the Sports Diver course builds upon your skills and allows you to increase your enjoyment of the underwater world.
Divers from other agencies: The Baltic Exchange SAC warmly welcomes divers from all diving agencies, e.g. PADI, SSI, NAUI etc. We don't mind who you trained with, we just want to get everyone diving! If you would like to take a course with the Baltic Exchange, then thats no problem either, its easy to cross over and take the appropriate course for your level of experience.
Sheltered Water Training
Our sheltered water training takes place in a 25m pool located just minutes from London Bridge station. Whether it is your first time in the water, or you are building on your previous experiences, sheltered water training provides a safe, controlled environment to master the skills neede before progressing to open water
Open Water Training
Once sheltered water training has been completed, the next stage of our courses is to move to open water, typically in an inland location such as Stoney Cove or a suitable costal location.
This stage of training is sometimes combined with one of the club weekends away, allowing new members to enjoy the great atmosphere and social side of diving!
Often taking place before the beginning of the dive season, open water training days are also ideal opportunities for divers of all experience levels to refresh their diving skills under the supervision of our instructors and prepare for the spring and summer dive trips.
