The Baltic Exchange Sub-Aqua club was founded in 1973, and since that time its members have dived the four corners of the globe, as well as introducing hundreds of people to the sport of scuba diving.

The club currently has around 40 members, and continues to be active in both diving trips and training.

The Baltic Exchange

The Baltic Exchange is a membership organisation at the heart of the global maritime marketplace. It's history spans more than 250 years and traces its origins back to a humble coffee house - the traditional meeting place of merchants and sea captains - in the City of London.

Today, the Baltic Exchange provides independent daily shipping market information; maintains professional shipbroking standards and resolves disputes.

BESAC was originally founded by a group of people involved in the shipping industry, and is currently supported by the Baltic Exchange Sports Association.

Through the Sports Association, the Baltic Exchange supports a wide range of sports, including football, golf, sailing and, of course, diving. BESAC serves as a meeting place for shipping professionals and provides regular opportunities to network with others in the industry whilst taking part in a great sport.
